This is my first time to visit west cemetery. When I visited the west cemetery, most different design was discovered by me. The shape of the gravestone will be base on which religion have different design. Also visit the Hong Kong Cemetery similar to go through one history lecture as here not just have gravestone. Each tombstone have belong themselves history. When we go through this tombstone, we know a lot of relation Hong Kong history. Also know which people who contribute to Hong Kong affect our future. I think this is not enough learning in the book. We should personally visit this cemetery and feel the environment. This will be useful our learning Hong Kong history. I think this is special experience to visit cemetery, as normally we just go to cemetery in Ching Ming festival. I think this is quite good visit.
After visiting the Hong Kong Cemetery, I sudden feel that I have learn more about Hong Kong histories, particular in the relationship between U.K., Chinese and Hong Kong. For example, I visited the earliest gravestone in Happy Valley,
dating to 1841 and belonging to Royal Navy ship captain William Brodie. That was a year before the establishment of the Hong Kong British colony. I feel closer with these history person so I am happy in this learning and visiting.

Beethoven. However, traveling cemetery still not popular in Hong Kong because of afraid talk about death in Chinese culture. Cemetery usually talking a history of one place and the development of the city. Understand more cemetery is the best thing of us learning the history of our motherland. Cemetery is the best way to see the view in the past. Cemetery wouldn’t have any huge changes when it was finished,the view usually similar to one hundred years ago. This is the best place for us to perceive the history of the city. Hong Kong Cemetery providing lots of reference to the history of Hong Kong development and the culture. A traveler who want learn about and person living in Hong Kong should visit there once in their life.
